1. ^{The Central Library of Goa University. The

2. ^{The Central Library of Osmania University in
India has installed the Networking/Consortium version of NewGenLib on its
Server. s}

3. ^{International Crops Research Institute for
the Semi-Arid Tropics (ICRISAT), Patancheru, A.P. 502324. ICRISAT
uses NewGenLib to network its libraries in India with its regional center
libraries in West Africa and in Eastern and Southern Africa. Their OPAC
may be seen at http://ngl.icrisat.org/newgenlibctxt/Opac2_0.jsp.
The ICRISAT library uses NewGenLib also for building its open access
digital repository complaint with the open accesss initiative for
metadata harvesting (OAI-PMH). A memorandum of agreement between ICRISAT
and Kesavan Institute of Information and Knowledge exists to further
develop and deploy the software.}

4. ^{Bangalore University has installed the
Networking/Consortium version of NewGenLib on its Server. The plan is to
build an Academic Library Network of the University and college libraries

5. ^{Auroville Library. Auroville is an
International Village conceptualized by the Mother, a prime disciple of the
great Savant Sri Aurobindo of Pondicherry. The Auroville Library has
installed the Networking/Consortium version of NewGenLib as a first step
to networking the many school and other libraries and a unique herbarium
in Auroville. The OPAC of this network may be seen by first going to http://www.auroville.org.in
and then clicking the link for the Auroville library.}

ICARDA is an international agricultural research centre like ICRISAT.}

its Server. The plan is to build an Academic Library Network of the
Banaras Hindu University and departmental libraries in Varanasi.}

10. ^{Central Institute of English and Foreign
Languages (CIEFL), Hyderabad. CIEFL is a deemed university and has many
foreign students pursuing studies and research in several foreign
languages. Understandably, the CIEFL library's collection comprises books
in many languages. The web version of NewGenLib has been installed at
CIEFL. This version will allow the library to enter cataloguing data in
languages such as Arabic, French, Spanish and German via virtual
keyboards. Other language support will soon be provided.}

recently installed the web version to develop a model digital library for
the visually impaired. The application provides access to digital content
